Sizzling Squeeze Dogs

Make BBQ season even better with Sizzling Squeeze Dogs! Sausages served in a skillet pan of sizzling red onions, topped off with a delicious, mouth-watering squeeze of Primula Ham & Cheese.


  • Serves 2-3
  • 20 minutes

What you need

  • 6 sausages
  • 3 stalks of rosemary
  • ½ tbsp of vegetable oil
  • 1 medium red onion, sliced
  • 140g Primula Cheese & Ham

How you do it

  1. BBQ/Grill your sausages
  2. Whilst the sausages are cooking, heat a cast iron pan – this can be done by placing the pan on your BBQ grill – get it as hot as possible
  3. Pick off the tender sprigs of rosemary from the woody stalks
  4. When the sausages are cooked, and your cast iron pan is searing hot, add the oil, then the onions and most of the rosemary; using a pair of tongs, move the onions around to get a bit of char all around, but leave them with a bit of crunch
  5. Finally, add the sausages
  6. At the table, put the cast iron pan on a heat-proof mat/trivet
  7. Squeeze over a generous helping of Primula Ham and cheese and let it sizzle
  8. Garnish with a few sprigs of rosemary
