What you need
What you need
  • Primula Cheese 'n' Ham
  • I sheet of ready-rolled puff pastry
  • Flour for dusting
  • 1 each of small red, green & yellow peppers
How you do it
How you do it
  • Preheat your oven to 200˚C / 400˚F.
  • Line a 20 x 30cm baking tray with baking parchment.
  • Core the peppers and chop each one into a fine dice.
  • Unroll the pastry sheet, keeping the paper. Dust each side of the pastry lightly, place back on its paper, and roll out lengthways until the pastry is the same length as the paper.
  • Spread the Primula cheese over the pastry sheet, then sprinkle liberally with peppers, making sure to cover the pastry all the way up the edges.
  • Place the pastry with the short end facing you, and roll up carefully, as you would for a Swiss roll.
  • Transfer pastry roll to a tray or board lined with baking paper, and place in the freezer for 20 minutes to firm up.
  • Carefully slice the pastry roll into 1cm rounds. Do not cut your rounds too thick, or they will not bake evenly.
  • Place the rounds on the lined baking tray and put in a pre-heated oven for 15-20 minutes.
  • Take out from the oven, arrange on your favourite plate, and let the compliments roll in.
