Serrano Ham and Squeeze Sourdough Toast Tapas
Celebrate Eurovision with Tapas on Toast to satisfy guests and be the host with the most delicious party food! Primula Cheese and Chives work perfectly with the serrano ham and caramelised apples to make this easy recipe a winner for any festive occasion.

What you need
- 280g Primula Cheese and Chives
- 6 slices of sourdough bread
- 2tbsp olive oil
- 4 small apples, sliced into wedges
- 20g butter
- 2tbsp honey
- 2tbsp water
- 120g Serrano ham
How you do it
- Melt the butter in a non-stick frying pan set over medium heat. Once the butter stops foaming, add the apples wedges and water. Cook for about 5 minutes until the apples are starting to brown, stirring frequently.
- Add the honey and cook for a further 2-3 minutes until golden and the sauce is slightly syrupy.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat and drizzle the olive oil over the 6 slices of bread.
- Grill the bread until golden on both sides, this should take about 2-3 minutes total.
- Remove the toast from the grill and immediately spread the Primula Cheese and Chives.
- Top the toast with caramelised apples and Serrano ham. Sprinkle with walnuts and serve.
