Squeezy Pigs in Blankets Carbonara

What you need

200 g pasta (spaghetti, tagliatelle or bucatini)

140 g Primula Pigs in Blankets cheese

5 to 6 pigs in blankets

1 to 2 small garlic cloves, finely chopped

1 tablespoon butter or a splash of oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: crispy sage to finish
How you do it

Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve a small cup of pasta water.

In a pan, fry the sliced pigs in blankets with butter or oil until browned. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Lower the heat and add the cooked pasta to the pan.

Squeeze in the Primula Pigs in Blankets cheese. Add a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce.

Season with pepper and top with crispy sage if using.

Serve immediately and enjoy a festive, cheesy treat.
