What You Need
12 Proper Tasty Yorkshire Puddings (The Real Yorkshire Pudding Co)
12 mini pigs in blankets
2 large potatoes
1 tube Primula Original Cheese
Cranberry sauce
Fresh cranberries
Sprigs of rosemary, to garnish
A knob of butter and a splash of milk, for the mash
Salt and pepper, to taste
How You Do It
Preheat the oven and cook your pigs in blankets according to the packet instructions (usually 160–180°C for 25–30 mins).
While the pigs in blankets are cooking, peel and dice the potatoes. Pop them in a pan of boiling water and cook for 13–15 minutes, or until you can easily pierce them with a knife. Drain and return to the pan.
Add the butter and a splash of milk, then mash until smooth and creamy.
Spoon the mash into a piping bag fitted with a round nozzle and set aside.
Bake the Yorkshire puddings for 4–5 minutes at 180°C until crisp and golden.
Pipe a generous swirl of mash into each Yorkshire pudding, followed by a good squeeze of Primula Original Cheese.
Top each one with a dollop of cranberry sauce, a few fresh cranberries, a sprig of rosemary, and a pig in a blanket.
Serve straight away and enjoy a festive, cheesy treat!
