What You Need

  • 12 Proper Tasty Yorkshire Puddings (The Real Yorkshire Pudding Co)

  • 12 mini pigs in blankets

  • 2 large potatoes

  • 1 tube Primula Original Cheese

  • Cranberry sauce

  • Fresh cranberries

  • Sprigs of rosemary, to garnish

  • A knob of butter and a splash of milk, for the mash

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

How You Do It

  1. Preheat the oven and cook your pigs in blankets according to the packet instructions (usually 160–180°C for 25–30 mins).

  2. While the pigs in blankets are cooking, peel and dice the potatoes. Pop them in a pan of boiling water and cook for 13–15 minutes, or until you can easily pierce them with a knife. Drain and return to the pan.

  3. Add the butter and a splash of milk, then mash until smooth and creamy.

  4. Spoon the mash into a piping bag fitted with a round nozzle and set aside.

  5. Bake the Yorkshire puddings for 4–5 minutes at 180°C until crisp and golden.

  6. Pipe a generous swirl of mash into each Yorkshire pudding, followed by a good squeeze of Primula Original Cheese.

  7. Top each one with a dollop of cranberry sauce, a few fresh cranberries, a sprig of rosemary, and a pig in a blanket.

  8. Serve straight away and enjoy a festive, cheesy treat!
