Mini Prawn & Dill Squeeze Tartlets

Looking for a party-perfect nibble that’s packed with flavour but easy to whip up? These Mini Prawn & Dill Squeeze Tartlets are light, creamy, and full of seaside charm – all thanks to a generous squeeze of Primula Original Cheese.

What You Need

  • ½ pack ready-to-roll shortcrust pastry

  • 1 tube Primula Original Cheese

  • 1 pack pre-cooked king prawns

  • Fresh dill, chopped, to garnish

  • Paprika, for sprinkling

How You Do It

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C / 350°F and lightly grease a mini muffin tin with butter.

  2. Cut the pastry: Use your fluted cutter to stamp out 12 rounds of pastry. Place each one over a hole in the muffin tin.

  3. Shape: Gently press the pastry rounds into the tin using a pastry pusher or your fingertips.

  4. Bake: Pop the tin into the oven for 15–20 minutes until the pastry cases are crisp and golden.

  5. Cool: Let them cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

  6. Fill: Once cool, squeeze Primula Original Cheese into each pastry case.

  7. Top it off: Add a king prawn, then finish with a light dusting of paprika and a sprinkle of fresh dill.

  8. Serve: Best enjoyed fresh for maximum crunch and flavour!
