Squeezy Mummy Hotdogs

Squeezy Mummy Hotdogs! Fun, filling, and delicious—perfect for your Halloween party spread or a quick, playful lunch the whole family will love.


  • Makes 10 mummy hotdogs

What You Need

  • 1 croissant roll dough sheet (if this is unavailable, use puff pastry instead)
  • 10 hot dogs
  • 280g of Primula Cheese & Ham

How You Do It

  1. Open the tub of croissant roll dough and roll it out flat. Use a pizza cutter to slice the dough into long, narrow strips.
  2. Preheat oven to 190 C degrees fan. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Wind the strip of dough around each hot dog, leaving a gap from the top for a “face”. It’s okay if the strips of dough overlap or look irregular because it adds to the charm of the mummies. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes until the dough is golden brown.
  5. Transfer to a serving plate and decorate with dots of Primula Cheese & Ham and black peppercorns for eyes. Squeeze additional cheese onto the mummies for added effect, and enjoy! Alternatively, Primula Cheese & Ham can be used as a dip for the mummy hotdogs.
