Taco Traybake

Turn up the heat and liven up your mid-week meals with our tasty Taco Traybake recipe! Made with beef mince, spices and topped with creamy Primula Cheese, it’s sure to be a new family-favourite.

  • 4 tbsp Primula Spicy Cheese 'n' Jalapeno
  • 500g beef mince
  • 1 red onion, diced
  • 2 red peppers, deseeded and diced
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tin kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 large tortillas, cut into triangles
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  • 2 spring onions, sliced

  • Preheat the oven to 180c.
  • Add the beef mince to a large pan over medium heat.
  • Cook for 10 minutes, breaking up as you go, until browned.
  • Add the peppers, onion, ground cumin, smoked paprika and some salt and pepper.
  • Cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Add the beans to the pan and stir through.
  • Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and spread out.
  • Place the tortilla triangles around the edge and drizzle the Primula Spicy Cheese 'n' Jalapeno on top.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, or until the tortillas are lightly golden.
  • Serve topped with coriander and spring onions.
