Steak Sandwich

This ‘proper’ steak sandwich is set to be a great hit with meat lovers. After all, you just can’t beat the delicious combo of classic steak and cheese – yum! It’s filling, savoury, and best of all, it’s gloriously cheesy. The result is a steak sandwich recipe you’ll want to whip up every week.

  • 1 sirloin steak (155g)
  • 2 ciabatta buns
  • 50g of Primula Original Cheese
  • ¼ of a red onion, finely sliced
How you do it
How you do it
  • Fry your steak to preference (we’d suggest medium rare), cover and set aside to rest.
  • Lightly toast the ciabatta and leave them in the toaster to keep warm. Slice the steak into thin strips.
  • Fill the ciabatta with steak, top with a generous squeeze of Primula Cheese.
  • Sprinkle with the onions and serve warm.
  • Bite in and savour!
