
Squeeze Steak Sandwich
This ‘proper’ steak sandwich is set to be a great hit with meat lovers. After all, you just can’t beat the delicious combo of classic steak and cheese – yum! It’s filling, savoury, and best of all, it’s gloriously cheesy. The result is a steak sandwich recipe you’ll want to whip up every week.

What you need
- 1 sirloin steak (155g)
- 2 ciabatta buns
- 50g of Primula Original Cheese
- ¼ of a red onion, finely sliced
How you do it
Fry your steak to preference (we’d suggest medium rare), cover and set aside to rest.
Lightly toast the ciabatta and leave them in the toaster to keep warm. Slice the steak into thin strips.
Fill the ciabatta with steak, top with a generous squeeze of Primula Cheese.
Sprinkle with the onions and serve warm.
Bite in and savour!
