Cheesy Carrot Biscuits

Our Cheesy Carrot Biscuits are super simple to make. Your kitchen is guaranteed to smell divine while these savoury snacks bake in the oven!

Tube of Primula Cheese 'n' Chives
  • ½ tube Primula Cheese 'n' Chives
  • 200g grated carrots
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 100g plain flour
  • To Serve:
  • ½ tube Primula Cheese 'n' Chives
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives

  • Preheat the oven to 180c. Line a baking tray with baking paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Wrap the carrot in a thin, clean kitchen towel or paper towel and squeeze out the liquid.
  • Mix the carrot, eggs, oil, ½ tube Primula Cheese 'n' Chives and plain flour in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste. You should have a thick, but sticky dough.
  • Dust your work surface generously with flour.
  • Turn out the dough and use your hands to press out until roughly 1cm thick. Use extra flour on top of the dough to help if needed.
  • Use a circular cookie cutter to cut out circles of dough and transfer to the prepared baking mat.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden and crisp.
  • Allow to cool completely before spreading with Primula and topping with chives.
