Cheese and Onion Potato Bake

You can’t beat a classic combo like cheese and onion. Throw in some hearty potatoes and you’ve got a warm and comforting dish that the whole family will enjoy.

  • 140g Primula Light Cheese ‘n’ Onion
  • 350g potatoes, peeled and boiled until just tender, drained and cooled slightly
  • 2 onions, peeled and sliced
  • 50g shredded kale
  • 250ml hot vegetable stock

  • Preheat oven to 190C, 170C fan, Gas 5.
  • Cut the par boiled potatoes into thin slices about 3mm in thickness and layer a third over the base of a shallow ovenproof dish.
  • Sprinkle over half of the sliced onions and kale, and squeeze over half of the Primula Light Cheese ‘n’ Onion.
  • Repeat the layers finishing with a layer of sliced potatoes.
  • Pour over the hot vegetable stock and bake in a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until bubbling and golden. Serve straight away.
