Carbonara - Primula

Hungry for a quick and easy carbonara? A squeeze of Primula will give your dish a burst of creamy flavour!

  • 1 tube of Primula Original Cheese (or why not try Primula Cheese ‘n’ Ham for even more flavour?)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 400g spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp virgin olive oil
  • 200g unsmoked bacon lardons
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
How you do it

  • Bring water to the boil in a large saucepan and add salt. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente.
  • Meanwhile, heat a large, deep frying pan over a medium–high heat, add the oil and lardons and fry until lightly golden. Add the garlic and cook for a few seconds, then remove from the heat and set aside.
  • Drain the spaghetti well and tip into the frying pan with the pancetta and garlic. Add Original Primula Cheese and mix well.
  • Serve with a garnish of your choice
