An Avocado stuffed with Primula and Pawns

The Prim Prawn

Avocados provide nearly 20 essential nutrients including: fibre, potassium, vitamin e, B-vitamins and folic acid. They are also a great source of good fats. Combine this with Omega-3 rich prawns and tasty Primula Cheese for a recipe you can really feel good about.

  • Yields: Serves 4


8 large king prawns, cooked

2 ripe avocados, stone removed and halved

150g tube of Primula Cheese with Prawns

A cup of breadcrumbs

A small handful of parsley, chopped


1Preheat a grill to medium hot.

2Fill the centre of each avocado half with a squeeze of Primula Cheese with Prawns.

3Spread a little extra cheese over the top of each half and sprinkle with the breadcrumbs.

4Pop under the grill for 5 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and golden.

5Top with a couple of prawns and garnish with parsley.

6Serve warm.
